Swim Carnival Thursday March 3rd 

9.30 - 1.00 

The children will need to bring:

- two named towel 

- named swimming togs

- named caps 

- named goggles (optional)

- named whanau coloured t-shirts (or their school sports shirt or a white tee shirt if they do not have the right colour) 

- Something warm to put over their togs between races, named

- a named water bottle 

- named sunblock 

Helpers still needed:

Thanks to those who have volunteered. You should have received an email from Mrs Coker confirming this.

We are still short of some parent help for the Year 5 & 6 judging 9 - 11 and the year 3 & 4 judging 10.30 - 1.00.

Remember to bring in family photos!

We have been writing about our families and will be displaying our awesome stories on the wall. So, we would love some family photos to go with them! 

If you don't have any family photos, then you can draw a nice picture of your family. 

Also - if you only have one copy of your family photo, you can email me a picture of it or I can photo copy and give the original back to you. 

Cycle Safety!

Hi again,

you should know me already but i'm Bradley call me Brad!

So on Wednesday we had cycle safety at Howick Primary School we had the normal morning block then KAPOOOO! then bikes had arrived outside Room 3 it was strange for a second but then we realised it was CYCLE SAFETY!! We all got hyped up and excited but we had to wait for Room 2 to go. Room 3 was so hyped but we couldn't go yet! Aww. We waited till after morning tea then we learnt how to put a helmet on our heads securely. Then after lunch we rid our bikes and did some courses on the senior courts we had loads of fun and played plenty of games!

The year 3 - 6 swim carnival is coming up! 

Next week, on Thursday the 3rd of March, we are running a bunch of fun activities and events in and out of the pool and some traditional races. 

We need parent volunteers to help run events. Your support is essential and appreciated  - we are unable to run the event if we don't have your help.

Please check the newsletter tab on the blog for more information. Notices will also be coming home. If you are interested in helping, please send me an email or return the form. 

 At the moment, we are learning to present plays to an audience! We are still practising - but will be presenting on Friday.
